GREAT to be working at this famous foundry in Pietrasanta. It had been already for a long time on my to-do-list. I am very interessted in the proces of bronze casting. Therefore I have been working with several different foundries , like Noack in Berlin (G) and Kunstgiesserei Lenz at Nuernberg (G).
At Mariani Foundry they use the method of shell casting. I was especially interessted in the diffrent aloy they were using. Different from the usual silicon bronze that is been used mostly by foundries in the north of Europe, except Germany.
